Heena and lazy day

Friday 9th Nov:

After a lack of sleep there was no way we were going to yoga so us, David and Arne went and had breakie. Then they went and did their own thing, while me and Sam went to Mona’s. I had my Heena done – just on one hand as that’s all there was time for. It didn’t take too long to do, about half an hour for each side, then around 20mins to dry. And had some more Reiki performed on me by Sam. We were then served lunch by the lovely guesthouse owner – I forget her name now. We had freshly cooked Chapattis, with some kind of weed that looked like spinach (apparently it’s from the fields?!?!) mixed with potatoes and butter, plus banana and oranges drizzled in honey. It was actually really nice.

Then we said our goodbyes and made our way into town to go see Ali about the trip tomorrow. He wasn’t there so we went and had dinner with David and Arne at a German cafe and went back to see Ali later. Turns out we can get a car for all 4 of us, and a driver, for a 15hr day, for only 3200 rupees, 800 each which is around £9! We’re heading out at 6.30am tomorrow, back around 9-10pm, eak! Heading towards a temple up in the mountains at 3000 feet which is supposed to have good views of the Himalayas, about a 5hr journey, a small village just further down, and Mussoorie, a hill station about 2hrs from Rishikesh. We may even make it to Dehradun for a buddist temple, it all depends on timing. So basically tonight is just blogging, packing as I won’t have time to do it tomorrow night before heading to Haridwar Sunday, and an early night! Hopefully have a good blog post about tomorrow’s trip when I get around to posting it!
